Ultra slim folding Bluetooth keyboard with built-in kickstand and holder

When I am test driving a new product I take into consideration the functionality it offers, the difference that makes, and ‘bang for your buck’!

I am fully independent, so I can assure you there is no influence or inducement from manufacturers or suppliers. (This may also mean that you know some great products I’ve missed, so please do share your favourites with me!)

Why this one?

I bought this to trial as an “on the go” option for data input – in meetings, at conferences or on the train for example. It always generates a lot of interest when people see me using it.

Pros

✔ Lightweight (200gms) and portable

✔ Long battery life (Manufacturer suggests 40 hours usage. I haven’t used to the point of a flat battery, but used on multiple occasions including a whole day of conference note taking with no problem)

✔ Rechargeable via USB

✔ Connects with Apple and Android devices

✔ Good to use on a stable surface e.g. table top, train pull down table etc

✔ Good key feel and touch responsiveness

Cons

⨯ Bluetooth is the only way to connect

⨯ Possible but less satisfactory used on lap

⨯ Takes a while to learn differences in navigation from standard keyboard e.g. when to use Shift or Fn for - + = etc

⨯ $ not £

Overall score

9/10

The product really makes a difference when note-taking on the move and in my experience represents excellent value for money at £25.

My original supplier has changed stock, so I now source these directly at the competitive price of £27 plus postage – let me know if you are interested.
